Its location is the most important. Our hostel is located 1600 m from the City Hall, 2000 m from Wojciech Bogusławski Theatre as well as the city park - the second oldest park in Poland.
Do you feel like shopping? We are only 10 min walking distance from one of the shopping malls in Kalisz – Galeria Kalisz. The second mall - Galeria Tęcza is located 1200 m from us and the third one - Galeria Amber (together with bus and train main stations) 3 km from us.
Looking for some entertainment ? Kalisz city center offers variety of clubs, pubs and restaurants. We are only 5 minute walk from Mc Donald’s. What is more, we can boast about one of the best sushi bars in Poland. But if you don’t feel like leaving our hostel we can always order some take away for you
Wondering about the transport? The bus stops are within the reach. If you want to get to the main bus and train stations take a bus (the timetables below) or take a taxi ( 10 PLN).
Water? Kalisz is called the Venice of Poland as it boasts about over 30 bridges. Local rivers and canals are almost everywhere. Kalisz has also an artificial lake called Szałe ( perfect for sailing and water sports). Another place is Gołuchów (famous for relax and water bikes). If you wish to have water bike trip you can rent a bike and try it on Prosna river. Another option is going to Murowaniec which is located 16 km from Kalisz and where you can get by cycle track.

Fancy learning some history? Kalisz is a perfect place to do it. It is the oldest city in Poland. We take pride in our Archeological Reserve Zawodzie. One can see there the old methods of producing meat, drinks or even pottery.
Kalisz is the place where you can find many nice and romantic places perfect for a stroll. There are also a lot of cathedrals, churches and beautiful town houses.
